Decor Ideas on a Budget

Here at Elle and the Peach, we totally understand that decorating can be fun, but also expensive at times. We've got three tips though to help keep your place chic and cute on a budget!

Fresh Cut Flowers

Having freshly cut flowers can keep the elegance and aroma in your home. You can usually find an array of affordable flowers such as irises, hydrangeas, and roses at Trader Joe's and Publix for under twenty dollars.

If you’re looking for flowers that can last a long time, tiger lilies and tulips can be great choices as they usually last for quite a few weeks. Another trick of the trade is to try drying out your hydrangea for a rustic vibe.

Mirrors and Candles

Whether it's a mirrored tray or a classic mirror to hang up in your living room, mirrors are one of the most affordable pieces when it comes to purchasing décor items for your home. If you're looking to have a Farmhouse decor aesthetic, then look for distressed pieces on the frame or even on the mirror. Adding candles can also help bring a whole mood to your room.
You can try adding traditional candles to your space or battery-powered candles that can work just as well. Either way, adding candles or mirrors can definitely help change up your space.

Coffee Books

We all know that coffee table books can be expensive, but they don't have to be. One great hack is to find coffee table dupes off of Etsy or you can also find these coffee table books under $100.00
